Background:
Terrylle Swiftshadow was born in Sintel, and grew up travelling the merchant routes between Humberton and Sintel with her large family.
When she was fifteen, the caravan was attacked by bandits, and Terrylle was forced to watch helplessly as her oldest brother Johan, died in her arms. She was taken back to the Vleyborian Shrine in Sintel, where she felt the call of the Lady Vleybor, who showed her a path which led away from her helplessness. From that day forward Terrylle vowed never to be helpless in the face of death again.
Terrylle has remained strong in her faith, and served her Lady faithfully. She destroyed the Hourglass of Souls and prevented Kharach, the God of Death, from being transformed into a mortal and killed. The White Lady rewarded her service with the appearance of the Cup of Vleybor, the church’s most holy artefact.
But Terrylle’s path has not been an easy one. She continually faces death and her feeling of failure in the eyes of her goddess. She has struggled to come to terms with the death of another one of her brothers, Erick, and her childhood friend Cel Silverstar.
Most recently Terrylle has moved to Kirk Leigh, where she lives next door to the Vleyborian shrine above the ‘Tea of Life’, a tea shop run by Mr S Pleb, a devotee of the church and retired adventurer. She means to attempt to bring peace to the area where so many of her friends have lost their lives.
