The Raven Guard:
The Raven Guard have their origins as recently as Harvesting 1005.
Pathfinder Kyla McDermott was made a freeman of the Earldom of Eboracomb in Shielding 1005 and was gifted the lands of Rookroost. Following her first trip to her new home she discovered that the old watch tower was inhabited by a large force of heavily armed bandits. Subsequently she carried out a number of reconnaissance trips and chose to hire a party of adventurers to aid her in clearing her lands once and for all.
The mission was successful and Pathfinder McDermott subsequently moved from her family home in Lirron to Rookroost. There she found that the lands were not as safe as were anticipated after the removal of the bandits. She set about recruiting her closest friends and family into a unit that could protect the area from attack while the watch tower was rebuilt. These people came to be the founders of the Raven Guard.
The Raven Guard and their home at Rookroost has grown to be important in the local area as a refugee camp for many families that lost their homes when Eboracomb was taken by Hellmourn in Drawing. Though it has come under attack several times, the Raven Guard still hold Rookroost and are reknowned as a competent military unit dedicated to the protection of the people of Eborshire.
